HSBC opened its first Japanese office in Yokohama in 1866 and is the oldest banking group now operating in Japan.

The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation has branches in Tokyo and Osaka which provide services to corporate clients. In addition, we also offer virtual account remittance services for corporate clients through our “Pearl Branch”. HSBC Private Bank provides a wide range of private banking services, including financial instruments intermediary services, for high net worth individuals at the Tokyo branch and at annex offices in Osaka and Nagoya.

HSBC Premier offers wealth management services to customers with financial assets exceeding 10 million yen via a network of seven branches in Tokyo, Yokohama and Kobe.
