Yen Time Deposit is a Japanese Yen (“JPY”) denominated deposit with a deposit tenure fixed at the time when the deposit is placed; hence, pre-matured uplift of time deposit is not allowed, in principle.
In principle, time deposits should not be cancelled prior to its maturity dates. In the event that the Bank has accepted the customer's cancellation request and customer cancelled the time deposit before its maturity date, the amount of interest for the period starting from the deposit date to the cancellation date will become zero. Hence, only the deposit principal will be credited to your designated Yen Savings Account or Multi Currency Savings Account (Yen).
Minimum Deposit Amount: JPY100,000 per time deposit
