HSBC Premier Offers You 23 Foreign Currencies to Choose From
When you have a need for foreign currencies, HSBC offers you 23 foreign currencies to choose from, available in both savings account and time deposit account.
You can exchange from Yen to foreign currencies, or vice versa, in 2 ways:
- Account Transfer : Telegraphic Transfer Buying (TTB) and Telegraphic Transfer Selling (TTS) rates

Transaction Channels
You may conduct foreign exchange by visiting Tokyo Branch of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, via Telephone Banking Service and HSBC Personal Internet Banking.
Transaction Time and Value Day
You can conduct transactions during Tokyo Branch of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited opening hours, and 24 hours around the clock via Telephone Banking Service and HSBC Personal Internet Banking.
For transactions placed before the cut-off time, they will be valued today; if the transactions placed after the cut-off time, they will be valued on the next business day.
* For CZK, HUF, PLN, AED, KWD and THB transactions done at a branch or Call Centre, the value date will be the next business day if the order is placed before cut-off time.
If the order is placed after cut-off time, the value date will be 2 business days after the order date.
