HSBC Premier Credit Card Reward Programme

You can convert your HSBC Premier Credit Card Rewards Points to both Asia Miles™ and ANA Mileage Club “Miles”. There is no cost for Rewards Point conversion.

Asia Miles

• Minimum points amount for conversion -- 1000 points (every incremental:　500points)
• Conversion rate -- 1Rewards　point = 1Asia Mile

ANA Mileage

• Minimum points amount for conversion -- 200 pts (every incremental: 2pts)
• Conversion rate -- 2 Rewards Points = 1ANA Mile
• Maximum annual conversion amount -- 80,000 Rewards Points April 1st to March 31st each year.

You can redeem gift vouchers which are available for many department stores, mass merchandising outlets, appliance stores, etc.

• Minimum points required for redemption -- 5,000 pts (every incremental: 5,000pts)
• Redemption rate -- JPY5,000 per 5,000 pts

Our Cash Back scheme provides you with the convenience and flexibility to convert your Rewards Points directly into cash, completely hassle-free! The Cash Back will be deposited to the Yen Savings Account.

• Redemption rate -- JPY1 per 1 pt

If you would like to make use of your Rewards points for charity donations, HSBC will be able to help. You can make donations to Earthwatch Institute - Japan.

You can redeem your HSBC Premier Credit Card Points by the following methods:

• Internet Banking


Log on to HSBC Personal Internet Banking and input the number of points you wish to exchange and click “Redeem”.


• HSBC Premier Call Center

Call HSBC Premier Call Centre at 0120-777-268 (Japan) or 81-3-6254-6777 (Overseas) to redeem Points by phone.


• Branches

Please contact your Relationship Manager to complete a Point Redemption Form.

【Point Exchange Schedule】

【Point Expiration】

The expiration date for points is indicated on the reverse side of your Monthly Credit Card Statement. Point expiration is set for 2 years after your HSBC Premier credit card enrollment date. However, if your enrollment date is after the 15th calendar day of the month, it will be rolled over to the following month for the purposes of calculating the expiration date.

Please refer to the example below:

1. If your enrollment date is 15 October, 2010 → Expiration Date: 15 October, 2012
2. If your enrollment date is 16 October, 2010 → Expiration Date: 15 November, 2012

【Deadline for Point Exchange】

Deadline for Point Exchange is the 5th calendar day of each month.
You can apply for exchange of points expiring in the month until the 5th day of the next month.

Notes: The deadline for exchange of points expiring in the month has been extended to the 5th day of the next month, although we have notified on our HSBC Premier Newsletter April 2010 Edition that the deadline was 5th day of the month even in the expiration month.
