A bank exclusively for customers with financial assets of more than 10 million yen

HSBC Premier serves more than 2.6 million customers in more than 40 countries and territories worldwide. In January 2008, HSBC Premier launched in Japan as a bank devoted exclusively to offering wealth management (asset management and oversight) services to customers who have more than 10 million yen in financial assets.
Each customer has his or her own dedicated relationship manager.

The biggest feature of HSBC Premier is the assignment of a dedicated Relationship Manager to serve each customer.

The Relationship Manager offers a complete range of assistance, including assistance in setting up accounts and creating an asset management plan. The Relationship Managers continuously follow up on customer's transactions as well. Through consultations based on an accurate understanding of each customer's wishes, Relationship Managers can offer proposals that match the needs of every customer. If a customer is not satisfied with his or her Relationship Manager, HSBC will name a different Relationship Manager.

HSBC WealthMaster assists in asset management by allowing customers to visually check the status of their portfolios, making it easy to review their current investment holdings. For customer consultations, HSBC uses HSBC WealthMaster, an exclusive asset management oversight tool developed by HSBC. With this, Relationship Managers can create an asset management plan and analyse a customer's current portfolio based on an accurate and mutual understanding between the customer and the Relationship Manager.
